Ms. Barfield’s class has worked hard to create, collaborate, and curate to re-create their own version of the story, The Three Javelinas they read earlier this week. They were assigned partners and a storyboard template through Canva and Google Classroom. During math, students also worked with a parter to create an array to match their assigned word problems. Next, they worked with their partners to create their own word problems and arrays. Students will present to the class on Friday!

April is the month of the Military Child!

Ms. Allison Faircloth and Mrs. Arnold's class created, collaborated, and curated together in both Reading and Math. In reading they used their google classroom links to watch videos and find information about the life cycle of a butterfly. Then using Canva, the groups created a presentation on the Life Cycle of a Butterfly. In Math, the students used Google Classroom links to watch videos all about patterns and then used Canva to create a presentation about different types of Patterns. The students had a blast working on these projects all week.

Ms. Strickland and her students have worked diligently this week during Digital Days to re-create their own version of the story, The Three Javelinas they read earlier this week. They were assigned partners and a storyboard template through Canva and Google Classroom. Students used descriptive sentences, animated slides, and very realistic pictures. Students will continue to make changes and present their slides on Friday with their partners.

Thursday is "Wear Orange for Unity Day!"

Mrs. Singletary's and Ms. Holmes' kindergarten class is back at with curating, collaborating, and creating. This week we read The Very Impatient Caterpillar and learned about the life cycle of a butterfly and what characteristics we need to possess to be patient. Our students learned about the life cycle through their Google Classroom, chose a partner, and then created a StoryBoard through Canva where they created and typed sentences about the life cycle. Then they shared with the class.
