As a part of celebrating Women in Aviation Month, Moody Air Force Base allows students to come out and view various demonstrations and interact with the men and women of the Air Force. Several eighth grade students took the opportunity to learn more about various careers in the military. They were able to see demonstrations from K9, the Wings of Blue Parachute crew, C130 emergency assistance drop, along with flyovers from A10 warthog jets. Students also interacted with firefighters, emergency management, EMTs, and C130 maintenance crews.
